Mayor's Blues Ball Call for Sponsors

Sponsorship Opportunity:

The Medicine Park Economic Development Authority will be hosting the third annual Mayor’s Blues Ball, Labor Day weekend September 4th, 5th and 6th. The event, featuring live blues music, art and bar-b-que, has been highly successful due to overwhelming support from sponsors. This year’s event will feature thirteen authentic Blues acts that are free to the public. Sponsorships for this year’s event are tax-deductible and offered at four levels.

Bronze level: $100-$249 sponsors will have your name on all fliers, posters and on the T-shirt. You will also receive mention at least once per day on the live radio remote. You will also receive an invitation to the Sponsors and Volunteers Party hosted by the Winery of the Wichitas.

Silver level: $250-$499 sponsors will have your logo on all print materials and T-shirt and mentions during the live radio remote and in all press coverage. You will also receive an event T-shirt featuring the artwork of Rob McClellan. You will also receive an invitation to the Sponsors and Volunteers Party hosted by the Winery of the Wichitas.

Gold level: $500-$999 sponsors will have your logo featured on all print materials, and mentions during the live radio remote each day and in all press coverage. Your banner, provided by you, will be placed to one side of the event stages with high visibility. Gold sponsors will receive two event T-shirts. You will also receive an invitation to the Sponsors and Volunteers Party hosted by the Winery of the Wichitas.

Platinum level: $1000+ sponsors will have your logo predominantly featured on all print material and the T-shirt. You will receive numerous mentions during the live radio remotes and your banner, provided by you will be featured front and center of the main stage and the second stage with high visibility. Platinum sponsors will receive four event T-shirts. You will also receive an invitation to the Sponsors and Volunteers Party hosted by the Winery of the Wichitas.

All sponsorships will receive a letter of appreciation and a receipt acknowledging your support.

101 and Still Having Fun

So many things happening at once, that was the 4th. You may have spotted me playing Little Britches shooting up the streets with the Medicine Park Marauders or chatting with the folks in town or trying to catch a little of the music between acts or chilling out on the Tavern veranda. After 7 years as a Parkie I am still in awe of how a little town of about 400 can pull off such a fun filled event.

Let face it, thank yous are meaningful to the people being thanked but can be a bit redundant to those reading so I am going skip naming names because I would assuredly miss somebody. I will do my best however spreading the thanks.

Thanks to the media for giving the Medicine Park celebration coverage.

Thanks to the Volunteer Fire Department for serving up hotdogs with the fixins until there was no more to cook.

Thanks to 8 Marauders in 3 acts robbing a bank, getting caught, thrown in jail, breaking out of jail, blowing up an outhouse (with the Floozy still in it).
