Medicine Park's Happy Half Mile of Shops

There is always excitement in the air when new shops open in Medicine Park. This year there are 3 new shops, one of them in Cobblestone Row and two of them in renovated cobblestone shops just around the corner from Town's Central. In front of the shops is a brand-new sidewalk adding to Medicine Park's reputation of a walker friendly town, what I'd like to call Medicine Park's Happy Half Mile Of Shops.

* Pistol Annie's located in town center's Cobblestone Row is a quick stop place where you will find your specialty Medicine Park souvenirs, books, clever and unique gifts with affordability in mind to bring home with you as a reminder of the fun times you had in the Park. FYI: Kathy Morris (aka Pistol Annie) is the newest member of the Medicine Park Marauders!

*Note: Pistol Annie's has been open for many months but this blogger has been a little under the weather.

Medicine Creek Gallery is a working studio as well as a gallery. The artist, Bud Pawless, is a Western painter and sculptor who knows the subject well having been an actual cowboy! Bud's canvases capture the essence of the West while his sculptures would be great additions to Western themed interiors. If you get a chance to stop in you may catch the artist in the throes of creating another piece.

The Spice Bazaar is a great place to find one-of-a-kind magical gifts including hookahs, shish-a, handcrafted scented oils and perfumes in pendant form, beautiful handcrafted jewelry and many colorful accessories.

Medicine Park is proud of its individually owned and operated shops, eateries, services and other businesses. You will delight in finding items and services not found in other places in Oklahoma. If you've seen what's in our shops you have to return as there is always something new being added. Our shop owners are friendly and helpful so do stop in and tell them Muriel and the Medicine Park Post sent you!

  1. Thank you, Medicine Park, for welcoming G.I.'s. We are a place that welcomes these people with open arms. This will only benefit us, as well as show the hospitality they may not receive elsewhere.
